Kia ora! It’s hard to believe how quickly this year has gone by. When we started building Debut, we knew it would be a challenging journey, but we're thrilled to announce that we've shared an early production version with a select group of colleagues, friends, family, and business partners. And let me tell you, it's working!

We're excited to celebrate some big wins with you, including the official launch of mobile payments last Friday. We've been testing this feature behind the scenes for some time, and we're proud to say that users can now pay for things using their phone or watch via Debut. Card payments and contactless payments are particularly complicated to establish. There is a lot that goes into it, and I cannot understate what a significant milestone this is for Debut.

While we already have some cards ready to go, we realised we wanted to make a few more tweaks before getting them out to all of you, and we've decided to offer two options for customers to choose from. Unfortunately, this does push printing out to January for us, but we think people will really like having the option to choose. I'm absolutely dying to show you the designs, but we'll do a big reveal along with some exciting announcements in January.
When will Debut be available for download? 📲
So, Debut is not yet available to the general public. We’re taking care to ensure everything is working as expected, and we’ll invite more users over the next two weeks before taking a short break for the holidays. We’ll also reach out to additional members from our green room program and customers on our waiting list early in the new year. The rest of the team and I really can’t wait to share Debut with you.
The Roadmap is up-to-date. 🏎
Debut is out in the world, but our work is far from over. We’re constantly learning from user feedback and making changes and improvements as we go. The roadmap has been updated to reflect what is currently live. Visit our Living Roadmap and vote for the features you want the most. There’s also a new website in the works to give more clarity around what Debut can do now.
